Keep in mind it's not the ski - it's the binding!! Most shops are able to switch out the binding plate fairly quickly.
I unfortunately broke the binding plate on 3 pairs of Mach3 skis (over the last 2 seasons) and they sent them back to Nordica to have them replaced. This was before they knew they had a problem and it took months to get the skis back. Good news was I got 2 new pairs of skis!!
