Yesterday, I hiked Old Rag, one of the most popular, and fairlychallenging hikes in the mid-altlantic. My upper arms and shoulders are a bit sore, and have some bruised knees from climbing up some boulders, but it was a gorgeous day, and fun hike!
Fresh, and ready to go!
We could still see signs of a forest fire that ripped through the forest in 2000.
The first part of the trail is a series of switch backs, at the 2.3 mile mark, the fun begins!
