Looking at relocating myself, and my school career, to Bellingham. Anyone skied Baker? Lived in Bellingham? Any info?

Baker is a great mountain, lots of snow. Inbounds terrain is a bit limited, but boundless BC. Bellingham is beautiful. You can PM Grrr at TGR, he lives there.

Fantastic mountain biking at Galbraith, too.

The other advantage to Bellingham is that it's on the way to Whistler.

beautiful town, lots of fun, very young university demographic. our son is in the university there.... when he was looking for a college, i told him that it has been my experience that kids locate (usually) close to where they went to school. Therefore, he could only look at schools near mountains and with skiing.
He chose WWU.

Everyone I know that went to Western still loves Bellingham and is so sentimental about it. It's small, has kind of a hippie-ish vibe, and is mostly a college town. It's not much to look at--Fairhaven is cute but the rest of it is pretty strip mall-y. The hiking off Mt Baker Hwy is great too and of course Vancouver is so close (except border lines can be so long). Not to mention kayaking with the San Juans right there...

You know the Baker ski area holds the world record for snow, right? 1,140".

Love Bellingham. Lived there off an on growing up and went to college there. Go back whenever I can. Western is a great school to go to & it really adds to the town. If it worked better for my job I would still live there. Always happy when I get to go back. If you decide to move to Bham you'll never regret it. Also as far as Baker since there is not a resort at the mountain it is a lot less crowded then other mountains. Usually holds the record for base depth (which also means it does rain a lot in the winter in town).
