For anyone who skis Jay Peak, I was wondering how the conditions are. I have never been, but DH and I wanted to try it out the weekend of April 10'th, but goodness knows if there will be snow by then anywhere this year. According to their site they are 100% open and going strong, but I'd rather hear that from others here as it is quite far from me and I don't want to go into it without realistic expectations. Thanks in advance for any info!

I can't speak specifically about Jay, but this latitude in general is about to experience a pretty major change (i.e., back to NORMAL?) in the weather. Glades around here are still skiable but are crusty. There is snow in the forecast, intermittent, right til the end of the week. Barring another week of 55-60, I think you should be okay. In a typical year, snow is not even soft this far north until after the first week of April. Jay holds up pretty well.
