My kids are off from school tomorrow for the third day in a row. Now - we didn't have a major snow storm, but some neighborhood roads and sidewalks are still icy, so no school. Every parent around here thought they should have gone back today (after all, we all made it to work just fine.) If I had a crystal ball I would have been able to tell on Wednesday that my kids would have a long 6 day weekend. We could have driven to Vermont or somewhere else in the Northeast.
As it is we will take a day trip tomorrow, but skip the weekend b/c President's Day at ski resorts around here is way too crowded for me.
