So, we're headed up the mountain yesterday morning. DH is driving, grandkids and daughter in the back. He's still hurting after a wicked face-plant last weekend, and grumbling some about having to drive an hour "for a crappy ski day."

His definition of crappy, apparently, is spending the day in relaxed skiing on a green run with a three and five year old.

Weather's okay -- two inches of fresh snow on groomed runs. It's warm -- around 30 degrees. The sun is out. Not many, but some little powder caches that haven't been touched yet. They're JUST RIGHT for an adventurous five year old and an old guy who has spent the week with a heating pad and ibuprofen as his best friends. All in all, we had a lovely, leisurely ski day that was all the challenge the little guys in our group could hope to handle!

Anyway, three year old Rion, hearing about crappy ski day on the way up, was of the opinion that there is no such thing as a crappy ski day!
