Bad Tune?

Gripe alert!!

I just picked up my two pairs of skis from a most reputable and trusted shop. My Burnin Luv's came out awesome and sharp as expected. The Queen Attivas? Well, not sure if they were sleeping on this one. Many things went wrong here:

First off, they did my boot test and marked the left ski as the right one with the little sticker. These skis have matched graphics so if I wear them as marked, they'd be backward. I know in general there's no longer a right and left ski as long as your boots soles are the same, so I'm not really concerned.

Secondly, the bases are nice and waxy, but the tips don't look like they got new wax. They're fuzzy. On my BL's, the wax is shiny all the way to the tips as it should be. Anyone else ever see this before?

BUT... the real gripe here is that one of QA's bases is warbled! The left ski base, fine and smooth like it should be. The right ski however has what looks like belt marks near the tail. Looks like big ripples in the base, not the wax. And... in one spot mid-ski there's a big banded stripe going across the ski. This right ski had also needed two repairs, a tail delam and a core shot. Both fixed appropriately. But the base grind? Wha happened? :noidea:

Obviously I'll be calling up the shop for a re-do!
