All mtn. ski for petite eastern skier?

JaneB

I'm in search of a one-ski quiver. I am 105#, 5', level 8; ski all mountain, mostly in the east. I demoed the Roxy Bliss, found it too soft for my level but liked otherwise. I"m currently skiing on jr. race skis, fine for carving, but not all-mountain. I found the Volkl Attiva Fuego too heavy.

Suggestions? Am considering the roxy Joyrider if I can find one to demo or Atomic Heaven's Gate (Foxy Mama). Open to anything all-mountain, shorter length, like aggressive sidecut.

I recommend the Dynastar Exclusive Legend. However, it really does not have an agressive sidecut, but they could be a one ski quiver. There are some good deals at this time.

I tried both the Foxy and Heaven's Gate this year. (Love living in Atomic town!) Either would fit your requirements.

I also tried the Joyrider and Heaven's Gate this year.

You can see my review of the Joyriders here, and the Heaven's Gate here. The Joyriders are a nice ski. However, I actually liked Atomic's new Cloud 9 better than the Heaven's Gate. You may want to give them a try.

I will give you a list of what my petite friends are using in NH.
Nordica Victory or Drive (I have friends on both - current year ski is same sidecut, Drive is softer than Victory)
Elan Magfire 8 - 152 (unisex)

Ditto! I bought these recently and have only skied once on them (in really awful conditions) and love them. I'm a small-boned lightweight, and let me tell you, these skis are LIGHT! But still fairly still and very stable.

I demoed the Foxy Mamas for a couple days and really enjoyed them, too. A little heavier and not as floaty, but more of a sidecut. I would try to demo a few things, if you can!
