A tip on securing toe heaters

I have been using stick on toe heaters on cold days. Some of these heaters don't stick very well and getting your boot on with them in place is difficult.
Tip: I carry a role of masking tape in my ski bag and tape the heaters in place. It works like a charm.

Another tip: I carry an old face or wash cloth in my ski bag to wipe off my boots before putting them in my bag at the end of the day. It keeps the boots and bag clean and dry.

Anne, are you me??? I used to do both of those things. I say "used to" because now that I have Hotronics, I don't use the stick-on heaters anymore. But I always used the tape. And it definitely works. A great tip.

I still wipe down my boots with a old wash cloth, though, before I put them in my bag.

For me it's just been a matter of learning to point my toes down as I put my boots on. Even if they're not sticking at all and are basically balanced on my foot, they seem to go in properly 99% of the time. But that's a good idea to keep in the truck just in case.

I just stick them upside down to the top inside of the liner then slide my foot in underneath. Rarely have a problem with them rolling up that way.
