Who has their season pass for 10/11?

I'd have to move. Ours is $550 and even then I use the payment plan to buy it.

I haven't had to pay for my pass for the last two years, and this year I do...at $1300. I also moved to a mesa an hour away from the ski area. I'm considering not buying a season pass...hmmmm. I know I'll regret if I don't, but I can't stand how much this mountain rips off locals.

Yay. Have our passes for next season. I just hope I can get enough days in this year.

Upgraded from the Colorado Pass to the Epic Pass. Upgraded maily because have friends in Reno and plan on skiing Heavenly at Lake Tahoe with them this year. But the added bonus is that the Epic Pass has no black out dates and unlimited days at Vail and Beaver Creekl!!!!
Honestly, the only thing making me hesitate and want the Epic is the blackout dates. My company is shut down from December 24 through January 2nd and the Colorado pass is blacked out December 27-31 at Vail/BC when I have plenty of time to drive the extra distance. Decisions, decisions. At least I have a few more weeks before prices go up.

I'm still undecided. I should have my Copper pass for coaching (unless something goes wonky there, you just never know) and am deciding between an Epic Pass or a Colorado Pass and a 4 pack to Loveland. I blame Katy and Betsy for hooking me on Loveland and making that part of the equation.

Don't blame me!! Blame Betsy and Don!! I normally don't ski there unless I'm with them!! It's their fault!

I'm thinking about upgrading to the Epic pass this season. If I decide to work part time at Copper I'll have more time to ski Vail and Beaver Creek!

Okay, I guess I shouldn't complain TOO hard about my commute...

Potentially more time at Vail/BC with Katy Perrey? Another positive in the Epic column...

Seriously? Why would this make you shake your head? Every single day I've skied with you had been good. They always make me push my limits, improve and in the end (even if I'm cursing you for a moment or two) I have a blast. Although, sorry, won't be able to ski with your for your bithday this year but maybe that's one we don't want repeat. Scary!

Ditto. Stunning!

Got our passes back in March for the local hill (Grouse). C$350ish for the end of the 09/10 season and all of the 10/11 season, any time (includes night skiing), any day, no blackouts.

We didn't buy passes last year due to expecting bedlam during the run up and Games period so getting the end of the season in was a bonus. Risky - no refunds if we don't get enough snow - but have saved the cost of the pass with what we did get in already. Yay for night skiing after a day at the office

Park City Mountain Resort just came out with their season pass pricing for 2010-11. It is a pretty unique idea. At the early bird price (until 10/31), the base price for an adult season pass is $699. This gets you skiing all season long from opening in the morning until 4pm. THEN, you have a choice of from 1 to 3 "add-ons" that used to be included in the much more expensive old passes. The add-ons are 1)Fast Tracks - the RFID pass to go through special gates at certain lifts, 2)night skiing - we are open until 9pm now, with the 3 Kings lift now open with lights (contains one of the terrain parks and the superpipe, and new lights on Payday and 3)close-in underground parking. Each of the add-ons cost $200. So, you can go "skinny" at $699, to "whole hog" at $1299.
I think this is a fantastic way to price the passes. I expect that we will get many more locals buying passes. We also have a new "night only" pass for $250. With the access to 3 Kings now at night, I can see lots of kids heading up here after school, and those "poor" folk who work days can still get in some skiing...
If I didn't work here, even I could afford the $699 for the season pass. I have no need for Fast Tracks as I don't mind the wait in line, I don't need the underground parking as I can always take the bus on busy days, and I have no desire to ski at night ever again.

Anyway - no real pass for me this year. I bought the new Alta Gold Card which just automatically charges your credit card at $40/day when you use it. I'm planning on a lot of XC skiing and snowshoeing this winter.
Too many places, no enough time to ski.

I'm not buying a pass any time soon.

(I keep thinking of buying one of them passes at CO or others out west. Reality being, I don't get more than 2 weeks a season out there. It doesn't really make much of a difference in cost in the end. Might as well keep my options open and be flexible)

To make matters worse, I've been packing my x-c gears on my trips out west. That cuts into my downhill days. I've notice although my total skiing days has gone up, but the increase are more significant in x-c days while downhill days stay more or less constant. So passes are even less cost-effective...

Since I resigned from my job yesterday, I have to buy a pass now. I'm thinking Epic Pass. I guess I need to buy that this weekend, eh?

I wish I could stay home, but I do have a gear habit to support as you well know. I got a great new job that I'm really excited about. I think I deserve a present. Off to the new gear thread I go...
