My first thought was, "Wow!"

Followed very closely by "And you did this why?"

And last but not least, "Better you than me...!!!"

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

These seriously outdo the Backyardigans ones I made for DD's birthday a couple of years ago.:laughter:

Okay.... okay.... I'm not nuts. :laugh: I'm the VP of the PTA and was asked the reading month committee to buy cupcakes for hte celebration. Problem was finding anyone who did Dr. Suess theme. The only one I found was a bakery about 20 miles away who was going to charge about $1 per cupcake. I figured there were better ways for hte PTA to spend their money so I decided to make them myself. :D My mom and I spent about 6 hours yesterday making them. :laugh: It really was super fun! :D

Wow, they look so professional, too! and, I love your island/counter!

What are The Sneetches? I never heard of that book.

Whatever you do, don't DROP them!!!!! (that was my childhood reputation)

Gee thanks. :D

The Sneetches are the BEST! One has stars on their bellies (they're supposedly better) and one doesn't. They are segregated until some guy shows up with a star-off machine and a star-on machine and they get all mixed up and learn to love each and every one. :D

My favorite quote is:

"And we're all the same now you smarties. And now we can go to your frankfurter parties." :laugh:

I love Sneetches!

They look amazing, marge, and I wish I could have been there to help! What flavor are they?

They were all just white with white frosting. We were afraid with all the allergies nowdays to do anything too crazy. :(

Was this for "Read Across America," by any chance? My boys had to take comfy pillows and their favorite books into school today. DS#2 actually had to take in his favorite Dr Suess. I was shocked to see him take in a book about the rain forest. His favorite Suess is the short story about the Empty Green Pants; his brother's is the one about the 23 Daves (Oliver Boliver Butt), and they both love the Butter Battle Book!:ROTF:
