The buzz is growing. A local TV station did a story about Inside Ski. The video is of a 50+ skier who'd had a little training before filming for the story. Also includes a 17yo boarder at the same time.

They have a separate website just for Inside Ski. It looks a lot like the website for the FL facility that uses the same technology.

Pretty sure the system that Inside Ski at Pro-Fit is using is Maxxtracks. Same system being used in Colorado. The company is based in The Netherlands. It comes in two sizes. Big Maxx for 5-8 people and Midi Maxx for 4-6 people. Sounds like Inside Ski got all the bells and whistles, including the one-way mirror.

At WinterClub in Winter Park, FL, here is what they do for a 60-min lesson. Seems to apply to any lesson, whether private or group. I remember WinterClub started up a few years ago. They have two Big Maxx. Very similar pricing structure as Pro-Fit. But a bigger facility. Also includes an interactive ski/board activity and what looks like Skier's Edge for a ski-oriented work out.

  • 60 Minutes Session: Over the course of a 60 minute session, each participant will typically spend 30 minutes on the ski slope with the Trainer. Due the intensity, we use the proven “10 & 10 x 3” method – 10 minutes spent on the indoor ski slope followed by 10 minutes rest and recovery x 3 .
