I'm standing around with my ski boots on.

Just sayin'. Because after all, it's Labor Day weekend, and I got new boots at the end of the season, and I want to wear them a bit so I don't have achy feet my first day out. At the very least, I want to identify any bad spots.

(BTW, they're the only purchase I've allowed myself during my year of going without.)

This is my second pair of Dalbellos (my first were Krypton Storm Lotus). They're Dalbello Chakras, and I took the Booster straps off my old pair and installed them here.

 Good for you!!

I'm still a bit nervous to get back in my boots and I'm waiting till the middle of October to put them on. Hopefully I will have my FINAL doctor/PA/workers comp appointment Oct 30 and be fully released for this coming season!!

I was wondering about you ... how do things feel??

Good for you guys. What pinto said, how do things feel. Funny thing is my ski boots are currently in my living room so I earlier this evening was thinking of putting them on, just cause. Glad I am not the only one with these thoughts. Maybe I will put them on tomorrow for a little while. I am so grateful for you gals, others who are as crazy about skiing as I am.

I had mine on to see how they fit with the brace. Would I need new ones because of it.....Not this year! But I'll be in Ski Diva's position next season I think, with new boots.

I'm a bit worried to try mine on. I've lost significant weight this year and most of my shoes are now too big. I'd hate to see the same for my custom-fit ski boots although I wasn't at my heaviest when I was fit for the boots. The outfit in the avatar will be in the for sale forum soon. I really love that jacket too! Can't find it ina smaller size though.

I had my boots on, I think the week before last, after buying new ski pants (in a half-price sale - yay). Pants, of course, will need to be shortened so I was trying to get an idea of how much - with boots on. Boots felt fine, btw,

I've never done that, walked/stood around in my ski boots in my house. Ever.

(I'll be doing it soon. With much anticipation!)

Yes, guilty! I wear mine periodically throughout the summer, usually just to cook dinner or whatever but sometimes I do a workout on the bosu ball with them. I'm barefoot as much as possible so they tend to feel tight when I wear them out of season. I know my metatarsals will squish back together quickly in the winter though.
