How accurate were last season's long range forecasts?

I have come to the conclusion that anything beyond 10 days out is a crap shoot. NOAA is wrong out here on a daily basis. They tend to predict higher temps than actually occur. We get a laugh out of looking at a prediction of 82 that manifests at 72 and -yet - there they are still predicting 82 for tomorrow.
