BANISHED or, Why I am posting so much

We are Michigan State University alumni, both of us . . . we met there. With MSU playing in a bowl game today, we hurried back from the slopes in time for the kick-off.

So . . . Immediately, State gave away a safety (two points) on a idiot play. Then they let Georgia catch a kick off and run it back to score, and immediately score again. I left in a huff (low threshold for frustration).

As long as I sit in here at the computer, answering mail and posting away, State does fine. The minute I go in to look, they do something DUMB! So, here I am: with 34 seconds left and our tying run on the one or two yard line! Aaaargh!

At least they can play football. I hear the winter classic hockey game had to move its start time to later in the day. Too warm or too much sun on the the ice!

Hockey outside in January should be a given, but not this year......

My team lost today. Penn State had a bad first quarter and just could never recover.

I really wanted Michigan State to win.

Hockey outside in January should be a given, but not this year......

A couple years ago when they did the winter classic in Boston, they also played some college hockey a week later. That was real winter weather; spent 6 hrs watching games. The warmest it ever got was 10...it also snowed! We wore ski clothes and were ok. Some fools came in business clothes and coats...they didn't last long!

This weather is so wrong...and makes me sad!
