Backcountry camps?

I'm thinking about doing some kind of backcountry camp this season. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Just after some quick poking around I see this one at Jackson Hole which sounds pretty good:

This sounds like exactly what I'd like but is for teenagers. Heh.

Can anyone recommend anything like this? Any thoughts on doing a camp like this in general? Worthwhile (for someone who won't be living out west anytime soon) or not?
