Just today I ran into Nome, my friend's grandfather whom I met at her wedding a decade ago. He flew out by himself from SF to JH to ski with his great granddaughters.
When he went to enter his birth year for his pass it ends at 1930, except he was born in the 20s and is about to celebrate his 97th. Made my day. He lives independently and asked if we danced at the wedding. Nope. But we did spend a long time talking.
