lol, no! Part of the reason I am progressing slowly is also my unwillingness to take real phyiscal risk with this. The grandpa at the skatepark today was trying to talk me into a harder line and I was all, "absolutely not. ski season starts in 2 months and I'm actually good at skiing" :rotf:

A few things in case anyone from the general Denver area comes across this thread in the future.

My Instagram is basically just a skateboarding account now and I've met some very nice local women who skate that way:

This guy gives fantastic lessons and runs a very good 30+ women's skateboarding clinic that's been meeting weekly on Saturday mornings around the Denver area, if anyone is interested in that kind of thing:

This group continues to be great!

The ski season has been off to such a slow start that I've been skating a bunch this fall / winter and I am really digging it. Super fun.
