    I counted up my days today and I am at 109. Still have a few more likely. I think I made the correct decision to teach at Deer Valley and patrol at Nordic Valley (Eden, UT) this season, instead of working at Whitetail in PA!

    8 days as of 12/11. One at Park City, one at Nordic Valley, six at Deer Valley. Would have more but had to head back East for a family wedding. Sadly, missed the big snowstorms and all the POW.

    I’m spending this coming season in Utah. i’ll be teaching at Deer Valley. I’ll most likely be teaching kids, since I’m only PSIA level 1, Childrens Specialist 1. Less experienced instructors usually start with kids at Deer Valley, but I like teaching kids, so I don’t mind!

    Definitely not later. Slope coverage is looking a bit thin. Whitetail has committed to making snow whenever possible until end of season, but not much opportunity. All depends on weather. I’ll know more after this weekend. I’m heading up today, and will be at WT through Sunday.

    I don’t actually know if the downstairs lockers are available right now. They do have the lockers in rentals. You can boot up in the Daybreak Cafe. While you are only supposed to be there for 15 minutes, I don’t think they time you - particularly on a weekday!

    I have not been at Whitetail on the weekends this season. But I have heard from others that crowds are bad this season. Kind of like weekends before Covid. Last season guests were spread out over the week, plus reservations were needed. It was actually kind of nice.

    FYI - Whitetail and Liberty are experiencing staffing shortages. You can only eat indoors at Whitetail on Fri/Sat/Sun. You must show proof of Vax to eat indoors. The only place to eat indoors is the Marketplace. There is an outdoor grill available during open hours. Mostly grab and go...
