Hi everyone, I'm going to Chile in a month and my old boots are SHOT. I was skiing in Nordica Hot Rods 90w. My feet never hurt, rarely got cold, but the boots always felt a little big. On really cold days, they were too stiff, but I could deal just fine. I hear boots are not as stiff these days. I measure a 24.5, but ski in 23.5. I think I have a lv foot since everyone keeps recommending langes.
Here's my problem. I can flex the Lange 110lv in my living room, but it's 75 degrees. I'm worried about how stiff they'll be on the mountain. The only other pair of boots that fits (tried on about 10 others) is the Tecnica Mach 1 95 LV. I tried the Lange 80lv, but in the store there was nothing too them.
Anyone have comments on either of these boots? I'm a 43 year old expert skier who skis mainly whistler and some resorts close to Seattle. 5'4" and 125lbs. I ski on Line Soulmate 90s. Help!
