Yeah, we would never see that either because we need a base of 3-5 feet to cover up the stumps, rocks and brush.

I might ... but it wouldn’t be the plan. I ski as late as possible into the season and have rock skis for that.

I’m in Vermont with Mr. Blizzard. Planning to ski Killington tomorrow. Predictions are all over the place, from 3-6” to “up to 17” (liars). Rock skis at the ready, but he had to get his first vaccine first.

This was an open trail at Hunter (NY) yesterday, April 9. I love skiing, but I wouldn't do this. Would you? When do you think it stops being fun?
