Since this is a women's-only forum, I thought I'd post a link to an article I found on Women's Only Trips. Looks like fun!
Anyone ever do anything like that?
Anyone ever do anything like that?
If people are hanging out at Big Sky AFTER ESA, I'd be interested in meeting up. I can't afford the freight to attend those things, but can (I hope) camp out in my daughter's apartment in Bozeman for a few days and drive down to Big Sky each day. Or maybe Moonlight has cheaper tickets?Upcoming example, ESA Aspen. or Diva Solitude , or poss. weekend at Big Sky after ESA.
I think I normally pay $60 with my Big Mountain season pass, so $55 sounds good. I checked and that's the weekend BEFORE President's Day, so I might be able to do it. (I was afraid the daughter would be coming home for the long weekend and beef about me going THERE when she was coming home.) Although, a Moonlight pass is only $51, better yet! (I've done Big Sky a few times during race weekends.)Sibhusky, if you want to ski Big Sky when I'm there for the Wilderness Medicine Seminar, I can help you purchase a discounted lift ticket. I think they were $55 last year but don't yet know what the cost will be this year. I'll be finding out in the next month or so when I book the trip. I'll be there skiing Saturday 2/9 through Tuesday 2/12/08.
But you can still buy them each separately and just ski one place a day. You don't have to pay for the combined, higher priced ticket. Each is worth a full day or more, why pay the premium?you actually only need to buy one ticket to ski both Moonlight and BigSky. It is a combined deal now for a couple of years. If you go early in the season or around ESA time the stay and ski deals are incredible. At least at Big Sky, Moonlight is still a little pricey though.
Go to the Big Sky site and check out the early and late season prices, pretty good.
