Women are not tiny men, or where are the women in sports science?

Well, duh! Surprise!

Nonetheless, I found this article in Outside magazine fascinating. It's about how researchers are finally recognizing that men's and women's bodies function differently. There's growing that women experience training, injury, and recovery differently than men and would benefit from sex-specific research and guidelines.

As it says in the article, If your science isn't generalizable for half the population, how good is your data?

Give it a read.
