My sister in law called me today to ask me for help in acquiring a Mother's day gift for her mother.

It wasn't so bad, because I'm always willing to assist.
BUT......she had to add........"Why don't you fly out here for a few days? We're still skiing"

(she lives in Golden Colorado)

All I can think about is how I can take a few days off and fly out to play in the spring conditions!

Hmmmm, maybe my husband can take care of the Mother's day gifts/activities while I enjoy the slopes with his sister.

I have mine put away too.
Mt Biking and Golf were the primary for the past few weeks. Now I'm digging out my skis and trying to figure what to take.

I would say "curse you!" but I've come to terms with the fact that my ski season is over till November/December. I've put away my Stegman clogs and switched to my sandals (even when it got in the 30s earlier this week!). I'm even starting to come to terms with the fact that I need to go spend time out in the yard/gardens to get them in order.

Oh, Persee....I had come to terms with my ski season being done also!
I was happily living my life MtBiking, and Golfing. Its that pesky sister in law that tempted me into getting the skis out.

I'm sitting in the Detroit airport for a 3 hour layover, so I decided to spend some time with my on line friends.

I guess I could play scrabble too. Gee, think of all the things I can do to fill my time, not to mention people watching.

I was amazed at the flight cost. Though I used FFM, it only took a normal amount of miles from my account instead of 4 times the miles, for a last minute flight.
My sister in law is very excited that I'm coming out. A few Bears from Epic are going to try and meet up with me. Life really is good!
