Frankly, this year was so much more crowded I'm trying to shut up about the place.

Do you know how heavily they advertise in Seattle? Full billboards, ads on the sides of buses, public radio sponsorship... I don't actually know anyone from here who has been to Whitefish, but I'm sure it's attracting some people.

Be thankful you aren't on the MCP. I really have seen a change at Sun Valley since they went on it.

I've seen pictures of the billboards because the skier is a friend of my daughter.

I live in fear of us being put on the MCP or bought by Vail. I think we had record visitation this year and the ski clubs this year were really obnoxious.

Based on chairlift conversations, people are mostly from Minnesota, Seattle, or (decreasingly due to the dollar) Alberta. If Amtrak cuts the Empire Builder, that'll will change.
