When you can't ski....

Today was a work day so no skiing but I wanted to share that I've just returned from 1.5 hours of bliss. Hot stone massage at the spa and I feel like jello. So when you can't ski....that is a pretty darned good substitute!

Boy, that sounds good - sigh. I just got done snow blowing the driveway---it's 145 feet long. Good snowblower but still a lot of jockeying, plus driveway's got an incline, where the machine loves to slip and slide and go nowhere.

OMG, you are going to be SO HAPPY with the conditions at River this weekend!! :snow: All the glades are open again after washing out last month. (I'm not a fan, but it's a barometer of how much snow there is.)

So, having done my "weight training" on the snowblower for an hour and a half, I'm in need of something--oh well, guess it will have to be dinner and a hot shower.

Be careful on the roads tomorrow, they're slick, esp once you hit the mountain country. I'll be out at the River Friday a.m. but then have company for the weekend who want to ski @ Sugarloaf.

I'm looking forward to getting out. It's a blackout day for us on Saturday so we may x-country for the day or maybe snowshoe. I will be spending a little time with Jim getting my foot kinks worked on...

Thanks for the tip on the roads - I will try to leave a little earlier than usual.

Well I got my workout too today. 7" of what I think is sierra cement in my driveway. Hubby is skiing at Tremblant, so who has to clean snow? Did the walkways and little around the car. Called a friend that has 3 trucks, could you, pretty please, hubby away.... Got it cleaned around 3pm this afternoon. 2' bank at the road from the d*%n plow. So didn't get off to Tremblant till 4:30pm. Here now.
