So Saturday Mr. Ski Diva and I decided to go kayaking over on the Connecticut River (for those who don't know, that's the river that divides Vermont from New Hampshire). So we go over to this place where they transport you and your kayak up the river, so you can paddle back down to where you've left your car.
That's where the skiing part comes in: the driver of the van turned out to be a tester for Technica, which is headquartered over in New Hampshire. Not a bad job! The gig at the kayaking place is his thing during the summer.
I asked him where he skied, and he said all over the country. They actually pay him for this!!!!
Unfortunately, we didn't start speaking til we'd almost reached our destination, so there wasn't much time to talk about skiing.
He did say, however, that the Auras are fantastic skis. And that he loves his Mantras.
With all the talk on the boards lately about the Auras, I thought this was worth passing on.
