Free bus service that runs often enough can work. Chapel Hill, NC started a bus system back in the 1970s. It's a university town. Even with heavily discounted bus passes for UNC-CH students and staff, not many people were using it. Even though parking on campus and in town is not easy. There were a couple routes that were free right near campus. Eventually the town decided to simply make the buses free, with funding help from multiple sources, including the university.

Snowbasin at one time was planning to run a gondola from Ogden up and over into the resort. Might be time to visit that again, too.
Interesting . . . didn't know that.

The original grand expansion plan for Nordic Valley in 2018 included a gondola from North Ogden to the Nordic Valley base. A fair amount of opposition so who knows what will actually happen.

Wow, he's really thought that through! And it makes sense. But families are going to want their cars at the resort, but that's fine, they'll pay.

We have a large toll road in Ontario. It bypasses most of Toronto. It costs, but the time spend sitting in traffic is worth money too. That toll road uses your license plate or a transponder that reduces the cost. You only pay for the distance you use.
It’s kind of a pricy toll road - especially since they get an additional fee from people who don’t have transponders (like us).
