Give us some insight on where you like to ski most on your home mountain -- you know, to save us the trouble of figuring it out ourselves when we come to visit.

Hmmm, at Copper Mountain probably Spaulding Bowl and Copper Bowl. Union Bowl can be fun as well depending on conditions.

Moving over to Vail I really like Game Creek Bowl especially if it's dumping with low visibility, Poppyfields I like for a nice groomer or powder on some days. For speed on a groomer I really like Berries or North Star. Oh, and the ever popular LONG run Riva Ridge.

At Arapahoe Basin it's all about Montezuma Bowl for me there with some work off the cornice or Pali.

It's too hard to choose one home mountain, so here are my favs:

Vail: My favorite runs are Little Ollie and Heavy Metal in Blue Sky Basin. They are off the beaten track and you can usually find powder even late in the day. I also love starting my day on Avanti. It's a great run to really open your skis up on.
Robyn - I was going to say Riva Ridge too. It's my favorite last run of the day.

A-Basin: Pali Face, oh so steep. Slalom, especially in the spring when it turns into mashed potato bumps.

Mary Jane: Derailer to Cannonball. Most people don't go this far right and the bumps just stay so perfect...

My true home mountain is Sunlight. I skied here every weekend growing up. It's tiny, no high speed lifts here, but it's got tons of charm. Favorites: Joslin to Blue Tango, Zephyr, Crystal, Showdown & Defiance (the bane of my young existance).

I'm going to call Mt. Snow my home mountain now, and my favorite trail there is unquestionably Claim Jumper over on Carinthia. Possibly the most fun tree run in the history of the universe. I once spent a whole day doing Claim Jumper/superpipe laps, and my legs were so sore from all the jumping that I couldn't walk right for like 3 days afterward. These are the things that happen when you're a skier in southern New England.
