What is your favorite holiday song?

My kids have all come home with "polls" about favorite holiday songs in their math groups (great way to teach graphing). I really like the goofy renditions and my favorite is called "Mambo Santa". Does anyone have anyother favorite holiday songs? And are any of them goofy? I'd love to hear!

My favorite holiday song is one you've probably never heard, it's an old Bing Crosby song I discovered on an old cassette, it goes a little like this:

"The little things you do, on Christmas day,
will not bring back the friend you've turned away,
So may I suggest,
It's not the things you do at Christmas time,
but the Christmas things you do all year through."

Bing's White Christmas. Then Silent Night done with the guitar, the way its suppose to be. Heard the worst rendition of O Holy Night this morning - Avril Lavigne. If you can't hit the high notes, don't do it!

Traditional: "Carol of the Bells" has long been one of my favorites too, Robyn.

More Modern: When I hear "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses, that's when it's Christmas for me!

Odd: WAY back in high school (too long ago) we had mandatory Glee Club (choir/chorus). Sophomore year the teacher had our class sing a song I'd never heard before & haven't heard since - but I still know most of the words & the tune!!! It's "Space Age Santa"!!!

Weird/Bizarre: Anyone ever listen to any of the "Twisted Christmas" CDs/albums? Some of the songs are hilarious, like: "Walking 'Round in Women's Underwear" to the tune of "Walking In a Winter Wonderland".

Talking about holiday songs has me in the mood now for one of my new favorite holiday movies, "Love Actually." That young gal who sang "All I Want for Christmas Is You" just stole the movie -- that's a nice contemporary holiday song.

I love that JT version of "Have Yourself"! JT can make anything sound awesome... Another favorite of mine is a Bare Naked Ladies Version of We Three Kings with Sarah Maclachan. Very uplifting and cool.
