It's about to be that time of the year! I'm ready to do the sojourn again, or at least the first three days. I know @TNtoTaos will be there as well. Who else is game? It's incredibly fun and I don't think it can rain as much as last year!

It really is. It didn't take me long to become addicted. Only doing 3 days this year due to scheduling issues but I want to do the whole thing eventually.

This looks fabulous! Been like 20 years since I've been on the Delaware, but I've many fond memories of paddling through the Delaware Water Gap National Park section and camping on the islands.

Currently replacing seats and refinishing the thwarts in the canoe, so perhaps next year?

Here’s a nice little video about the river trip I take every summer. I’m on the Steering Cmtee, and this was produced and narrated by one of our members.

If anyone is interested in joining us this year, the Sojourn will be coming up soon: June 17 - 23, and there's still time to register. The website info is below the video. I've been doing this for over 23 yrs, and it's an awesome trip!

You can rent a boat from the Sojourn. Yes, I’m an enabler!

Your registration fee includes a rental kayak, paddle and PFD. Join us!
When we paddle through the Gap we always have a Lenape tribal member join us to sing the traditional prayer requesting permission to pass through, as the Water Gap is a sacred place to the Lenape.

I've got to say, from a budget standpoint it's a great deal since in addition to gear rental for those who need it, the registration fee also includes meals and a camping spot.

We are already 45-55% full on every day of the Sojourn, and that's before the after-May Day rush, which is a record for us!
