What can't you get enough of?

Some people have multiple pairs of goggles, others have tons of long underwear or mittens. Seems like there's something we always end up buying more of when we go into a ski shop, no matter how many we already own. (And no, I don't mean skis :D )

As someone who's always in search of the perfect glove or mitten, I'm guilty in that department. What about you?

I hate to admit it but I have 8 pairs of mittens in my locker. It is embarassing when other people look in. But, I also love those velvet tops that Snowskins makes---I buy one every year when they go on I/2 price!! I have black, brown, blue and three shades of green!!!

Base layer shirts! I can't seem to get enough! LOL, I have something like 4 Northface, 3 Marmot, and a couple others, all different weights. If I see one on sale I usually buy it..

I have multiples of just about everything. I can, and do, outfit entire families with my 'cast off' or 'second best' gear.

Some of it is just good sense - such as having more than one pair of gloves and goggles, but in most cases, it's seeing something that's slightly better than the one I have and wanting to have it.

So I can put together entire outfits with matching jacket, pants, fleece, hat and gloves and goggles for loan to friends.

I have a LOT of fleeces, in every imaginable colour. And socks - just tell me a pair of socks is the latest, greatest technology and I'll buy them. In multiples. I paid $80 for a pair of socks once.

I have lots of base layer clothes of varying weights. When something new comes out or someone gives me a good recommendation I will usually buy one and try it. For a while I liked Hot Chillys. Then I bought some Patagonia and really liked it, so the Hot CHillys weren't used as much. I recently bought some Smart Wool for the really cold days. It may end up being my new favorite. I have lots of goggles too, but some are from pre-helmut days. Lately I really like the Smith Anthem b/c I have a small face and they fit well. I got 2 pair last year 75% off at the end of the season.
