Oh my, what a fabulous day! It snowed a couple of inches over the last day or two, went to Squaw today (my 40th day this season!!!) and it was one of the best 5 days this season!!!! Still lots of snowpack, nice layer of powder on top, high 30's, sunny, no wind...and best of all, almost NOBODY was there! Yahooey!!! The place was all mine.......I skied my brains out and didn't stop until they shut the lifts down at 4:00. I just couldn't believe how great the conditions were...on March 31, no less!

This was my first full day of GOOD skiing with my new Salomon skis....I absolutely LOOVVVE them, and my skiing has already improved amazingly. Don't let anyone tell you the right skis don't make a difference....I've seen for myself that these sure did! Going from a 150 to a 162 length made an enormous difference for me!!!! And going from a pretty low level ski to an expert level ski worked out great too. I don't get everything out of the ski that I will later on, but it was not "too much" ski as I would have thought! Thank goodness for serendipity....it was pure serendipity that I even demo'd it!

I wish ALL ski days could be like this one.....absolute heaven! :ski2:

Another ski escape

Don't ya just love these days? This is a great time of year.

After some aggravation at work, and an endless conference call, I decided that I would clear my head, met my clinic friends at Brighton, and enjoyed some turns in un-springlike conditions. THE SNOW IS FREAKIN GREAT. NOBODY WAS ON THE HILL. So beautiful.
