Watching movies old school: Drive-In movie theater in the Catskills

The filmmakers who created the documentary about Plattekill snowmaking this spring did their first film a few years ago about a drive-in threater in the Catskills. They did the filming during the last year that the old 35mm projectors were in use. After that, the owners of drive-in had to find a way to move to digital since they show first-run films. The studios no longer produce feature films on film. It was hard to come up with a way to pay for the change. Happily they found a solution so that by 2015 the drive-in can stay open for the foreseeable future.
