Wachusett

Cyn and I headed up to Wachusett for a half day on Wednesday the 19th. Conditions were excellent off the Polar Express, and stayed great until we left at around noon. Totally uncrowded, really fantastic. We skied Roper's Road, which I don't know if I've ever skied before because there usually isn't enough snow to open it -- it's really pretty, somewhat reminiscent of Toll Road in Stowe. Off of the Minuteman, however, the snow was quite firm in places, as if they'd groomed the night before and it froze over. We did just a couple of runs there and did laps off the Polar for the rest of the morning.

Ditto to all of the above. The only thing that kept us from staying the whole day was all the holiday prep we had waiting for us back home!
