That’s probably smart. A snow plow truck fell into the ditch in front of my house so I’ve been watching that for the last half an hour lol.
Both my husband and I are off tomorrow. My daughter’s school is also closed so we will probably go ski together. I saw 10am opening! Works for me. I just hope I don’t have to take a shuttle.

I went to Wachusett on a weekday powder day once years ago… found that it wasn’t really steep enough for deeper snow which we certainly have right now. The snow in my yard is well over my knees already. I guess it depends when they groom what too.

I believe it, I’m about 40 mins away from them and the snow in my yard last night was well over my knees when I was working to shovel a trench on my fence line for the dogs.
 
I'm guessing around 12 here in Quincy but it is so hard to tell since we also had high winds. There is absolutely nothing on my deck table. But I had to reach through and clear snow from around the doggie door so it could close again, and its a good ten inches from the ground.

With the snow so light there still isn't enough pitch off the summit?

I think with the super light snow it's probably been a lot better than what I got there the one time haha. Heck I might try sliding down my front yard later to see, which is steep but likely not steep enough for the 18 inches we got to get any speed to turn, we’ll see.

I’ve been shoveling trenches around my backyard fence line and middle for the dogs to have a place to run because the snow is too tall for them. Beau jumped in this morning and got stuck lol, Sookie knows better. I definitely got my workout in for the day! I'm beat.

I'm looking forward to the Nordica ladies demo day Wednesday, the conditions should be fab!
 
It looks good on the webcams today. The summit lift has a long line it appears. Planning on heading there on Wednesday---assuming I can still move. We got 15+ inches at my house depending on where you measure. I've had the snowblower out 3x in 24 hours and did a ton of shoveling as well so we'll see if I can still move on Wed!

I’m not sure if it’s publicly accessible, I signed up through an email list from a women’s event pre-season. But I think it starts 9 or 9:30 and goes until 2 with a lunch break. They are kind of making it a full day with a talk by the Nordica rep (it is just Nordica), skiing can be together or on your own, lunch, picture at the tent, ski until 2, etc.

Thank you for the info. Sounds like a fun time. Trying new skis is always fun! Hope you enjoyed the skis! I’ll be there at night tonight.
