Yeah, I think they probably started offering it 20/21. That year was my first year buying a pass there and I got Bronze since due to the interstate restrictions I was a captive audience so thought I might ski on Fridays there. Fridays ended up being too busy there for my taste---so every year after that first one I got the Steel instead.
For my age group this year Bronze is $100 more than Steel---so would still be worth buying a pass but makes it less of a good deal.

Time to start up this thread.

The annual Wine, Cheese, Chick's and Skis event is scheduled for Friday November 10th. Anyone going? I just bought a ticket.
I don’t know where this is at or who is hosting it but I absolutely love the name!!!

In case someone notices this thread about Wachusett in the next few weeks, wanted to say that there will be a Diva meetup in the Boston area Saturday, June 8. Check out Meet On The Hill in Divas Only for more info. I'm driving to MA that weekend for other reasons but always happy to chat with Divas in person.

If you can't see Divas Only sections, post here or send me a PM.

Off season bump- just saw that the Hallmark filmed in part at Wawa will premiere on July 20 at 8. Oddly it’s called A Very Vermont Christmas.

I’ll be looking for Divas. Who was it that saw them filming? @NewEnglandSkier ?

I didn’t see them filming, but the giant wreath they hung on the Polar Express building blocked the clock ALL season!

I watched the movie tonight. Typical formula for Hallmark movie but was fun to see the scenes shot at Wachusett esp since I saw them filming it!

The lift they were on for many shots was a triple. Is that the mid mountain one that usually only runs weekends and holidays?

Yep! Piece of Cake was shown as a black diamond called Double Dog Dare. I enjoyed the scenes at the Over Easy restaurant, too.

What time are you thinking of heading out? I might be swayed.
I'm in Weymouth til 930 and figure I'd leave right from there so I'd be @ Wachusett around 1030 - 11. Can dawdle around and delay departure if you're interested. If you are - we can take this over to DMs or texts.

Didn't want to wait for the new thread . . . Wawa is getting a 6-pack. Won't be in operation until 2025-26.

@diymom and I heard that from one of the lifties over Labor Day wkend - it will be interesting. It does seem a bit large for a smallish mountain but I don't ski the most crowded times anymore. Wachusett is also putting some snow making in on the runout where Look Mom, Hitchcock and Frannies all meet. They'll be on the Look Mom side which to me gets scraped off and icy quicker than the Frannies side.

Also - FYI to all - Wine and Cheese, Chicks and Skis will be Nov 8th - emails are supposed to go out to all attendees from last year but they have no date set yet.
