Volkl ski poles

Okay...

So I know that Volkl makes poles, and I know that they sell them, obviously.

But what confuses me is this.... why is it that the only websites that I can find them on are British?

Anyone know?

They make poles for every pair of their skis, from the Unlimited, to the Woman's line.... but they are nowhere to be found.:mad2:

Hmmm.....

I just took a look at the Voelkl site, cause i was wondering abput the "missing poles", as I've already seen them on the European site. It seems to me, that the layout from US site differs from the european one. I also tried to find the pdf. of the 08/09 collection, couldn't find it. It also seems to me, that some links don't work on the US site. Maybe you should write an E-Mail to them and ask where you can buy those poles. Or do you just wanna take a closer look at them?

Have you tried e-bay yet? That's where I've seen them for sale the most.

yeah, I checked out ebay. I even checked out ebay uk. I was going to purchase a pair from england, but when I emailed the guy, he replied regarding the shipping costs and it was too prohibitive considering their size.

I'm going to contact one of my local dealers and see.

EDIT:::: Okay, so I just contacted a store that, while they are in my town, they have a ski & sport haus about 30 minutes from me... didn't know that.

He said that getting last years poles would probably be an issue, but he could definately order this years.
He also said that Goode, Leki, K2, and Scott kinda dominate the market in this country, and Volkl doesn't usually bring theirs in unless special order--hence the reason I can't find them anywhere.

I'm pretty excited about his place, after looking at their website, they have two master bootfitters with 25+ years experiance each, specializing in orthotics, etc. Hmmm... how did I not know of this place??
