I love my zippy turny skis in this length.
I am 5'4" and over 155pds. They have been a great way for me to learn how to turn and they are stable at speed.
The only time I did not feel comfortable on them is when I encountered wind pack slab. (I don't like wind packed slab on any day though. Even in powder up to about 5 inches they performed well.

this is a very good price.
I'd buy em again!

I really did a lot of research on this ski. I wanted a fast ski that likes to turn and could handle PA hard packed/ice. I figured I could always demo them and then sell what I bought new incase I don't like them, but I would have really kick myself if I ended up buying them in December after passing up this deal.

I bit on these too, earlier this year when Snowhot posted the link and prices. After reading the comments on this site about them, I'm 99.9% sure I'm gonna love 'em.
A little tired of looking at them now...want to ski them!

I love mine and ordered them after two short runs on a demo pair - they loved hard pack, chewed up crud, and in volkl form held a great edge on ice (someone once told me that volkls edge hold was so good that they would stick to the sides of trees). They are a pleasure to ski and make you smile when you are skiing. They are extremely capable of fast and are brilliantly stable - on top of that they are good to look at. You will love them when the snow comes I am sure.
