MY BOYFRIEND HATES YOU ENABLERS!
Actually my wallet does. I just couldn't stop thinking about how I don't want to deal with the demo hassle at the Mountain. Last year there weren't any skis in my size that I wanted to demo...so thank you-i think @elemmac , @Tennessee , @SnowHot @AJM @marzandm @diymom and the rest of you. Now i cant wait for snow! This will be my ski of choice at Park City at20231116_162337.jpg this years trip. ;)

Did you order?
No, I'm still dithering! Just had some very silly fat skis delivered that I ordered a while ago, plus I have a replacement pair of JJs that need bindings mounted on them, so if I buy the 86s I'm going to be marching down the local ski shop with 3 new pairs of skis and bindings and will look like Imelda Marcos. Maybe if I take them one pair at a time and wear a disguise each time...

Maybe go to a couple different ski shops for mounting? Or different times so other people are working? Best answer, just own it!! :rotf:

As tempting as it is … I love the traditional Volkl feel so I’m hesitant to buy a ski that advertises that it doesn’t have that. I’ll wait to demo for sure.

I actually would consider buying this ski without demoing b/c I like a fun, playful ski for bumps and trees. It's one of the few skis I've seen advertised that claims it's good for bumps and trees as well as other conditions. Obviously, probably not ideal in heavy sierra cement or a foot of powder.
Think it would make a nice contribution to my quiver. BTW, I don't ski the Black Crows much anymore and I'm not sure why.

I didn't buy them b/c sold out in my length, but I took that descriptor with a grain of salt. A lot of people say that Yumis don't feel like Volkl skis, but they've also still had a Volkl vibe to them, imo. Maybe less stiff, but it's still lightweight there.
