Of course it was inevitable someone was going to ask where they can find a good deal on the 09 auras! I took the liberty of being the first one. :becky: I am hoping to find a pair of 156s for a better deal than what I am finding online at the moment ($699). Any divas know of a reputable ski shop I can call that may have a better deal? I also will need bindings. Thanks!

Good luck with that :faint:. Even the older ones are going for 300-400+.

Hence why I'll probably wait a couple years and hope for a new leftover. :yield:

(And yes, they were on my list of skis of interest for this season, thanks to you, vg!)

This reply is a bit late but it may still be of interest.

I just bough the 09 Aura for $519 at Mt Pilchuk's in Washington (www.mtpilchuck.com)

It was a retirement sale - not sure if it's still on but they had a few pairs left.

There's a demo pair from last year in the 163 at the ski shop at Schuss Mt MI. They called me last year to say they were up for sale, but I had already bought the 177. When I demoed them, I had been the only person on them, so they are probably in great shape.

Oops

Editing my post above - I screwed up - the Auras were $566 (still on-sale but not the $516 I mentioned earlier). Sorry ladies

If you really want 09 Auras. Ski Mart in Bellevue, WA has a pair of 156 mounted with Griffons for $699 I think. Not a steal but on current model and Griffons already mounted it is not a bad price.

WOW - that's pretty good deal. I put the Griffons on mine and they cost me $229.

I paid $500 last April for a 2007 pair (green/wood-look graphics) of Auras in a 177. They were still in the wrapper, and the dealer couldn't be talked down in price....he told me that if he didn't sell them, he was going to buy them to ski on!!! So I bought them, and I am so glad I did! I am IN LOVE! And, 177s are not made anymore  I don't get that.....I'm 5'10" and 165 lb...not overly big for a woman.....and these are perfect.

Thanks so much everyone! I ended up finding a pair and now I am just waiting for them to be delivered. I have officially joined the Aura club.

Can we revive this thread?

My auras got twelve too many core shots last season, and they've been basewelded well, but are starting to look a little dingy.

Anyone see a good deal on 163s?

I have a pair of 163's with duke bindings that I'm selling. I gave SkiWright first dibs on them, but you can have second dibs if she doesn't want them.

SnowHot-

Many thanks, however, I really do think I want a pair of 170s (prefferably not used, so I can drill them for a pair of binders I've already got...and get the most days possible out of them..)

I'm assuming your pair are used...

Anyone still looking??
