Well....it's official! Vail was supposed to open tomorrow and they are not going to open on time. They have made a tentative statement that they will open next Wednesday! We'll See!

I hear 'ya. We're waiting on pins and needles to see if we're going to open on schedule, which is next Thursday. Our new CEO has said he won't make a decision until after the weekend as the weather is supposed to turn colder, so they should be able to start making snow in earnest if that happens. As you said, we'll see!

And it looks like Steamboat Springs won't be open until November 30th instead of November 21st!

And we officially postponed our opening as of today....sniff, sniff. No new date set...it's a 'play it by ear' situation.

Its been cold enough here to make snow, and we've had a few flurries, but I'm not holding out hope for a profound Thanksgiving weekend of snow. Maybe we'll get what's coming to us!

I'm bummed, we were hoping to get a last minute ski trip over Thanskgiving. The reports look like the open areas only have a couple runs each with snow. I guess we'll save the $$ and wait until later.
I guess I can't complain too much about the warm weather here in the mid-west. I have done alot more biking in November than normal.
