Vail: March 16, 2008!

I can't wait! I'm on the eve of meeting my first Ski Divas and getting back up to Vail! Lot's of new snow! 20" in the last 7 days! (5" in last 24 hours!)

OMG!!

I HAD A BLAST!!!

Mr. NVG & I left Denver at 6:00 (in case there was traffic...which there was NONE!)

When we got to Vail....it was blue skies and SUPER SUNNY! I was psyched! I called Robyn & Marigee & Ealexandra212. Robyn was getting a slow start...but having a fabulous breakfast with her family! Ealexandra212 was going to ski with a friend and her daughter, so we didnt' get to meet her...but next time! Marigee and her 2 sons (twins!) and I met at 8:15ish and we were one of the first on the mountain!

It was beautiful!

Marigee's sons got a little tired and left us after a couple of hours. (Altitude and jetlag I'm thinking!) It was WONDERFUL to get to meet them! (They are SO FREAKIN' SMART!!!....Geniuses!)

After a bit, we met up with Robyn and her wonderful family!! Our first run with her....I did a face plant! (Please see Marigee's post later....) LAUGHED MY HEAD OFF IN THE POWDER!!! :ROTF:

We skied a bit, then we went over to Eagle's Nest (Top of the Gondola) so that Mr. NVG could ride up to meet us for a late lunch! We then went back out for a couple more runs until it started to DUMP....which is fabulous....and called it a day!

My legs and neck are tired today.....but I had the BEST TIME!!!! I can't wait for more Diva Skiing & Meeting! :D

Hey! I have a new injury to report! :ROTF:

I just got out of the shower and looked in the mirror and noticed I have a "helmet burn" on my forehead from when I did the face plant in the powder! I LOVE IT!

Helmet Burns ROCK!!!!
