Ok...So this trip report is going to be in snippets....because....why not! Tthat makes it more exciting!
So, I left Denver around 6:15ish but there was a crash on the way up, so there was a little traffic.
Ok! A lot!
I called NannyMin, but she had already heard about it on the news, so we were good.
I followed this van for just TOO LONG! But I thought it was a fun picture with the Gore Range with the sun coming up!
Traffic had subsided and I was heading down Vail Pass!
(ps....this was the FIRST time in 5 years that I drove MYSELF all the way to Vail!) :cheer:

So I got to Vail, and parked my car (YES! For free!) 
I walked over to where Nanny and I were going to meet....and I heard someone yelling enthusiastically in my direction, "HI!!!!!!!!!" Then she hugged me! I was hoping this was Nanny! Which is was!
She had recognized me from some other picture on here!
We rode up and we heard the "SEX AND THE CITY" phone ringing!
It was SkiNurse! We were about in the same area....so we decided to meet up!

She wasn't alone! She brought her harem: We'll call them "Bubbles" and "Klickity Klack!" (long story! but a fun one! :D )

So we headed down the China Bowl to head over to Blue Sky Basin! Beautiful!!! (no Pictures!)
SkiNurse tackled the bumps with finesse! Nanny and I decided to start our run with a crash where we ended up hugging each other! (no pictures....but a lot of giggles!) :ROTF:
Bubbles and Klickity Klack skied around the mounds that the DIVAS TACKLED!!!!

We got to the top of Blue Sky Basin and took a water break. 
This is where NVG's day started to be even MORE interesting!
I found a smashed banana in my pocket!!! :yell: It was gross!
I decided to take my meds (it was time!)....and dropped one in the snow!!!
It's a small white pill!
We were on our hands and knees looking for it (again, no pics....but SkiNurse recognized Nanny's and my butts sticking in the air!!!
We kept looking for awhile but to no avail.
I must say....Bubbles was on a mission!!! (Nice Man! or maybe he just wanted my med for himself?!?!?!?)
We gave up. Some chipmunk somewhere is gonna be happy this Spring!
I did, however, forget another one of my meds in the car, so Nanny and I had to go all the way to the bottom and get the other meds!
We decided to meet up for lunch at Mid-Vail.
This was the beginning of Nanny's and my adventures in the scenery!

All refreshed and ready to go....we got a little competitive SPEED thing going on!
SkiNurse has this FABULOUS new GPS toy that tracked out entire route for the day, and our top speed. I told her I wanted to try to see how fast I could go, so Bubbles zipped it into my arm pocket!
At the end of the run, the GPS clocked me at 54.9 MPH!!! FASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST Diva!
