Unbelievable....yet true!!!!

I was at a party last Saturday night and got to talking with my fiance's best friend (who will be the best man in our wedding).

I've dated "Fiance" for 5 years, and my head injury was 4 1/2 years ago.....to make a long story short...I met "Best Man" through "Fiance" 4 years ago. We always thought we knew each other from somewhere before...but never connected it.....

At the party last Sat. Night, "Best Man" asked me when I knew how we knew each other...I told him I still didn't know. I asked him if he remembered. He said he put it together 2 years ago and just figured that I had figured it out! WELL I DIDN'T!!!

Here's the thing....It turns out that "Best Man" who is the best friend of my Fiance......is someone who I dated before! HE'S AN OLD BOYFRIEND!!!!! I have no memory of that due to my memory loss from the head injury!

Groom and Best Man want to put that in Best Man's toast!

Bride remains horrified!

Well, don't that beat all. My "best woman" at my first wedding was an old girlfriend (and friend) of my ex-husband's and it worked out fine. Good friends stick together, so it kind of makes sense.

Still, it must be hard not having those memories. At least he's secure enough not to be threatened by your lack of memory. I once *spent the night* with a guy (who was a college friend) and a couple of years later had absolutely no recollection of it when he reminded me about it. Needless to say, he was pretty offended. I guess the evening wasn't very memorable!:D
