Two weeks in China Fall 2013

I remember being in flip flops when we went to the Wall  I was there during summer for work, so I only had flip flops with me plus some work shoes/sandals with heels )) It was also on a day of my arrival, so no time for shopping, I barely had time to drop my suitcase in the hotel room and a quick shower. When I saw how steep it was I thought I was crazy trying to do it in flip flops but then I saw that Chinese were also wearing either flip flops or Keds, not exactly a proper hiking footwear, so I "manned up".
