TV Coverage of the Inauguration

I'm watching the balls tonight. I love satellite TV. And I can time shift if I need to.

I was working the Town Lift in Park City yesterday. Down on Lower Main Street, Sundance had set up some giant flat screen TVs for people. Fortunately, we have a good view from our lift pit down onto Main St. We were able to watch while doing our lift duties. There were several hundred people standing down on the street, watching the inauguration. You could tell it was a liberal crowd - Bush booed and Biden and Obama cheered. I loved the Aaron Copeland piece. I've always loved it, but to hear those musicians play it, well, it just brought warmth to me. People were skiing in their Obama Tshirts and hats yesterday. The biggest crowd I had at the lift yesterday was the 15 minutes after the festivities were over! Before it started, there was no one getting on the lift, so I guess they all either stayed home/in hotel rooms and watched or went to Main St to watch.
Oh, the TVs were on CNN.
