I fractured my tailbone while snowboarding without falling...so I doubt that would have helped me. Thinking back, most of my snowboarding injuries were with my knees.

I saw a woman with one of those back over New Year's. Had a good laugh! Guess my husband rode the lift with her son and husband. The son was mortified. LOL.

I saw a Pikachu one a few weeks ago at Wawa. Might make for a softer landing, but looks rather awkward otherwise.
