Tuning Clinic?

vermonter

Diva in Training
Hello Divas!

I've seen SnowHot and Volklgirl post in the past about tuning clinics in Michigan. Does anyone know about clinics in Vermont (or upstate new york, western mass, even new hampshire - I'm in Bennington). There's a wealth of information on the 'net including Volklgirl's own wonderful guide on SkiDiva as well as lots of YouTube videos, but I'd love to attend one in person to get some hands on experience and feedback. Any ideas?

Happy New Year!

I just asked that very same question down at our local shop and was told they can't do these because of the liability.

I hope you have better luck.

Do you know anyone that is associated with a racing club? They usually have clinics for the racers and parents.

Also check with your local shop to see if they have a "race night" - this is a night of special discounts for race teams, usually with manufacturer reps present for questions. If they do, it usually includes a tuning/waxing clinic for the racers and parents....you may be able to weedle your way in for the clinic (sometimes a 6-pack is all you need for weedling )

Otherwise, if the shop's insurance allows, you may be able to get a tech to let you sit-in on a tune job.
