Ok looking at this thread I may just bite the bullet and do end of February as well!

I guess I’ll have to stay in Taos but I still don’t want to rent a car. I’d much rather pay a driver to take me to TSV and back.

MarzNC, TNtoTaos—any idea how I’d find such an individual? Is there a local listserve or something similar?

TIA !
Oh oh, sounds like you're getting hooked! Remember, this is the biggest group of enablers you're ever gonna run into

Don't worry about how you'll get to the mountain -- it's beginning to sound like there may be several Divas there that wk, so chances are you'll find someone to drive with. I may have some room in my car, although not every day, as I already have @marzNC riding with me for at least 2-3 AMs.

I suggest you start a MOTH thread closer to the time and see if you can find someone that way. There are some Taos locals on this website also, and perhaps they might have some ideas (paging @Susan L ).

BTW, I was a NYC girl until age 18.

Thanks TNtoTaos—it’s feeling very much like the TSV may become a regular habit!

I agree with you, sounds like there will be a lot of Divas there that week and something will work out.

I’ll reach out when I’m at TSV the week of Dec 14 and hopefully we can get together!

I have never been and thinking about going. I thought it was 2/22-2/28

Anyone with suggestions where to stay?
Welcome! This is an old thread from the 2024-25 season.

The latest travel tips for Taos are here:

The best thread for connecting with women who intend to do the late Feb 2026 Women's Ski Week is in the Meet On The Hill (MOTH) section under Divas Only. After you make some more posts (15), you'll be able to see it. Have you noticed the Getting To Know You section yet? That's where new members can do a self-introduction.

I and several retired Divas I know will be skiing Taos in late February. Several Divas are doing the Women's Ski Week.

What region do you ski the most?

Completely understandable. I live near Raleigh. My daughter graduated from UNC Asheville a few years ago. Used the Indy Pass to check out Cataloochee with another NC Diva when I was visiting in Asheville while she was in college.
